Tie a Silk Scarf: The Slip Knot
The Slip Knot is a commonly used way to tie a scarf for a uniform business attire. It has and elegant and professional look. The Slip Knot is well suited for silk scarves made from a fine, thin fabric, and/or slightly smaller scarves.
- Roll, or fold up the scarf. Then place the scarf around your neck so that one end of the scarf hangs down much lower than the other end.
- Hold the lower ending end with one hand, and wrap the other end of the scarf around it. Create a loop in front of the wrap and hold it open with two fingers.
- Then pull the longer side of the scarf through your neck and through the loop created in #2. You are done tying your silk scarf with the “Slip Knot”.
